What are your rates?

My rate is $185 for a 50 minute therapy session.

Do you accept my insurance?

I am out of network with all insurance carries. Some insurances companies provide what is called out of network benefits. Upon request, I am happy to provide a Super-bill to you to submit to your insurance company for any reimbursement that may apply to your plan. If you are unsure if you have these benefits you can call the customer services number on the back of your card to find out.

Why don’t you accept insurance?

Insurance companies require diagnoses codes that can follow you throughout your life and may affect certain types of employment such as airline pilots, military involvement, as well potentially affect life insurance benefits.

How many sessions will I need?

Therapy sessions are determined by each individual’s treatment goals and there isn’t a specific number of sessions that can be assigned to any one person. You and I will discuss together what your goals are and periodically evaluate progress and satisfaction over the sessions.

Is everything I tell you really confidential?

Everything you share in session is confidential with a couple of exceptions. I am mandated by law to report the disclosure of plans to harm yourself or someone else, and the disclosure of child or elder abuse.
